NXT Heatwave 2024 recap

The heat in NXT was definitely turned all the way up as 8 competitors prepared themselves and challenged for championship gold. The heat proved too much for Wes Lee as he fell short to Oba Femi and is no longer able to challenge for the North American Championship, Sol Ruca wiped out as she failed to capture the title off of a red hot Kelani Jordan. Chase U could definitely use a crash course in the superstition of good luck charms after they asked theirs, in the form of Ridge Holland to stay back home as they battled Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the tag team titles. Roxanne Perez proved that she is the face of the Women's divison after defeating another worthy and very skilled opponent in Lola Vice. Lastly 4 men 25% chance at retaining/75% chance of losing; Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Shawn Spears and Je'Von Evans all battle for the NXT Championship. Flowers go out to all the men in this match as they put on one HELL of a clinic! Je'Von Evans even gaining praise from Brother Pyro being the freshest face to wrestling as a whole. Brother Pyro's pick 'All Ego' Ethan Page did pick up the win and is crowned your NEW NXT champion, however Pyro does agree that without the help of Shawn that he does not see Ethan winning the championship.
